Pay-Per-Part (on-demand)

Order when you need it – no commitments and no storage

Orders without commitments

You don’t need a contract or volume commitments. We print on demand, whenever needed – flexibly and without tying up capital.

Express order fulfillment

Parts ready even in 24–48h – also in series. It’s an ideal option for breakdowns, production replenishment, or when fast response time matters.

One-off series and prototypes

Low entry threshold without investment in your own line. You order single pieces or short runs — prototypes, spare parts, and test parts.

Small-batch production - process

Customer onboarding

A simple and fast implementation process – from CAD file to finished batch. We analyze the design, advise on technology, and deliver proven components from just a few pieces.

01

Technical brief

We start by sending 3D files (STL/STEP) or a physical sample. Based on this, we assess the manufacturing technology and scope of work.

02

Analysis and pricing

Within two business days, you receive a quote, technology proposal, and possible realization variants — always considering pace and scale.

03

Prototype trial batch

Upon request, we produce the first piece or trial batch. This allows checking quality, fit, and possibly making corrections.

04

Production, control, and delivery

We sign a framework agreement, define SLA (lead time, quality indicators, complaints), and configure JIT delivery model or Kanban system.

Delivery times matched to pace of operation

Standard 48–72h, express from 24 hours — without binding contracts.

On-demand orders are fulfilled quickly and flexibly. Single parts are usually produced within 2–3 business days. For urgent orders, an express option is available with delivery in 24–48 hours — for an extra fee or under SLA.

Cost optimization

The break-even point of 3D printing compared to injection molding usually starts from several hundred pieces — depending on geometry complexity and dimensions.

Additionally, in additive manufacturing you don’t have to freeze capital in tooling, which significantly reduces investment expenses.

Step 01

No commitments, full freedom

You only order what you need — without contracts, volume thresholds, or mold investments. Ideal for urgent orders and irregular production.

Step 02

Parts ready in 24–72 hours

We print components ready to use — for testing, service, emergency replenishments. Without delays or intermediaries, with direct quality control.

Step 03

Stable quality from one piece

MJF technology guarantees precision and repeatability regardless of scale. Each part retains functional properties and design dimensions.

Step 04

Complete fulfillment – from model to shipment

We handle the entire process: from file or scan preparation, through printing, inspection, finishing, up to delivery of the finished component. No need to engage additional resources.

Flexibility, which doesn’t exclude responsibility

Optional SLA for urgent orders and full quality guarantee – also for one-time orders.

Clients using the on-demand model are offered to purchase SLA as a subscription or one-time fee.

It includes shortened delivery times and priority order processing. We also provide quality guarantee and complaint procedure — as in serial production.

Types of surface finishes

MJF 3D printing at COSMOLD is a solution for companies valuing flexibility, short lead times, and high quality. We support both startups and large industrial plants.

Unfinished sample

Raw surface, without powder removal after printing. Rough, porous, and matte — perfect for comparing finishing effects in subsequent post-processing stages.

Cleaned sample

Basic powder residue cleaning. Retains the natural color of the material and slightly rough texture. It is the starting point for further finishing stages.

PolyShot Surfacing

Mechanical surface smoothing in the Powershot X system. Provides an even, satin matte finish and improves part aesthetics without affecting dimensions or tolerance.

PolyShot + DeepDye

Combination of cleaning and coloring using DM60 technology. Parts gain an intense, deep color and a smooth, aesthetic surface with high durability.

VaporFuse Surfacing

Advanced chemical smoothing in the Powerfuse S system. The resulting surface is sealed, glossy, and resembles injection molding, providing protection against moisture and dirt.

VaporFuse + DeepDye

Smoothing and coloring in one process. Elements achieve the highest class of aesthetics and durability – smooth, color-saturated, and ready for direct final use.

Assembly of subassemblies and completion of finished components

Besides printing and finishing, we offer assembly, functional testing, and packaging according to client specifications.

We handle assembling elements into complete subassemblies – from pressing in bushings, through mechanical assembly, to integration with electronics.

Finished kits undergo functional testing, are labeled and packed individually or collectively – ready for production line implementation.
